Paxton Veterinary Clinics Ltd is listed as a veterinary nurse training facility and as offering emergency veterinary services. Recent reviews describe a practice that sees a mix of routine care and more complex cases, including behaviour-led consultations. Owners give concrete examples such as being fitted in after arriving on the wrong date, emergency assessment of a sick kitten with a “get to the bottom of the problem” approach, and vets offering alternative treatment options rather than a single path.

Drove two hours to see Pru who came highly recommended with a disabled 2 year old dog with complex needs. Pru is extremely intelligent Both a vet and clinical canine behaviourist. She noticed things we had missed. Well worth the drive! If you need a specialist vet for a complicated dog then it's worth travelling to help understand your animal within a holistic manner. Have additional tests and try other medications that may help.

I prefer to see pru when I visit with my dog (she is nearly 15) as she is compassionate and upstanding with my worries. Pru listens and will give alternatives treatments. She absolutely deserves 5 stars.

Lovely practice, the receptionist was very helpful and the lovely vet fitted me in even though I had turned up a week early by accident, my mistake! Would definitely recommend.

Friendly and welcoming. Sadly I found a cat dead by the side of the road and the team immediately helped. A big thank you to them

I took a kitten in poor health condition as an emergency visit. The clinician was an absolute gem, very attentive, very professional and committed to helping that poor little kitten my daughter had found a week ago. The care given was excellent and she was very focused in trying to get to the bottom of the problem which was a rather tricky one.

First time attending and the male vet (unsure of his name) was very nice, helpful and reassuring. They were better than my other vet in Addiscombe. Paxton had great customer service.

I highly recommend paxton vets gypsy hill iam a pensioner and vets can be extremely expensive But the good thing about this one they have a health plan for your animals at a cost of £20.00 a month this in includes all injections, flea treatment, worming and nails cut and this means i can have peace of mind knowing that my cat will be safe going out and not picking up anything

I found Paxton vets for my 2 bunny rabbits after moving from the USA to France to the UK. It is very hard to find experienced rabbit veterinarians (especially in a new country). But Paxton Vets treat them so well, with such gentle kindness and always listen intently to my concerns so I feel heard and understood. They are clearly knowledgeable with rabbits and I trust them. Whenever I have a question the vet herself gets back to me (same day) via email with the answers I need, suggestions, etc. It is clear customer and pet care are of top priority here at Paxton Vets (Gipsy Road) - many thanks!
